TwistedWave Audio Editor App Reviews

Excellent!

I love TwistedWave! I use it mainly to record and edit mono audio files and its both easy and very clean. New features have been added such as "reverb" and "Time stretching". Also, Ive always received a quick response from Thomas, the developer, whenever I sent him a question. Highly recommended!

Nice app!

Clear interface. Smooth control. No crashes (knock, knock). I havent tried all the features, of course, but what I have tried works nicely. Worth the price.

No Noise Reduction

This app is expensive and has no noise reduction function Recordings sound really unprofessional because noise reduction is impossible. I even tried recording in a quiet room and the noise got better, but its still not good enough. WavePad HD is a free app and is better than this app. Dont waste your money until they include noise reduction.

Please

Please give the marking function

Not working

After this last update the app doesnt work properly. The view of timeline goes by itself and app doesnt give permission to edit something. Help me fast please......!!!!!

Twisted

The app is amazing. If you need to record your voice and then edit it, insert silences, cut out - you will find it all here- easy to use. If the file is big you can send a link to mp3 which is saved on their website for a month. I found the app extremely useful.intuitive.its great for podcasters. I use apple headphones with inbuilt mic- and the quality... Its just superb.i cant tell the difference between professional voice recordings and mine. Yesterday i had to record my voice during negotiations in a cafe and i did it in the presence of my partners sending them a link within seconds. They were pretty impressed by my efficiency.its worth every penny in my opinion.

Fast, work with big audio files.

Please, add volume, pan and else markers like in reforge app. I didnt find them here. And possibility to export to iPod library needed! Also, in further time Id like to see multitrack editor, for crossfade function between two or more tracks possibility like in adobe audition multitrack mode. Else in app is great! Thank you.

missing input gain !!!!

Am I a dummy or is the input gain control missing? Its hard to accept that such a rich app does not have an input gain control!!! I bought it expressly for stereo recording!

Perfect!

Great app! Easy to use, complete, ideal for voice over artists, especially in with an external microphone. Accessible with voice over, the developer is extremely available.

Found a Bug

Hi. Im having trouble copying and pasting. Because when I paste things, it doesnt paste correctly (coming out with no wave of audio) and then the app either freezes or crashes. Can u plz update it so that you can fix it please. Its starting to get annoying.

SIMPLY THE BEST

TwistedWave makes recording simple. Its intuitive and for recording of audio book format, it is as simple as 1,2,3. The only "problem" with it is... I dont get to spend as much time on it as I would like.

Bug fixes can lead to more bugs

This app is still my favorite. So far still works. But theres one bug thats been happening a little more frequently. When I play a track (usually after some editing. To be specific: pitch and speed) it randomly stops playing it in the middle. I can always still play it, but it just randomly pauses. Still a good app. Hasnt failed me yet.

So Far, So Good!

Been looking for an easy to use audio editor since GarageBand cant handle longer podcast lengths. I havent spent a lot of time with this app yet, but I plan to! Very easy to use and cut audio. Lots of options for tweaking small aspects of your sound that a lot of other apps dont have (or arent intuitive to use). I recommend it!

Best wav editor. Period.

Far and away the best iPad app for recording and editing raw voice. Im a voice talent and this app is fantastic when traveling. Combine this with an Apogee MiC or Focusrite iTrack Solo and you have an excellent mobile rig. Highly recommended.

thanks Apogee

for introducing me to this app which doesnt support 96kHz/24bit recording..

Best app so far

I got this app in hopes of being able to add "epicenter bass" to songs which is pretty much boosting the lower end bass. Im not sure if its the app that just doesnt support splitting the track into 2 mono so I can only alter one. The way I add the effect is by lowering the pitch to -1200 cents and after that adding various low pass filters. Its great, but since Im doing it to the whole song, Im losing the highs which is the voice. Would love to find a way to keep an original version of the track played over the one I edited.

A professional stereo audio editing app that fits in an iPad

Thats all. It works! Makes it possible to record, or take an audio clip, GarageBand or Cubasis mix to the next level. It takes an iPad a full step closer to being a portable studio. Intuitive beyond belief. Price? Dont think about it. Its got value. Very cute!

Great for voice over

I am a VO talent, and using this app on both my iPad and iPhone, I can edit all my work on the road by combining it with my Apogee MiC. Literally couldnt do it without this amazing program.

Splice to pieces together.

Hi, Im a Figure Skating Coach and I cut a lot of music throughout the year. On average I cut around 125 pieces. One option I cant live without is the ability to splice and OVERLAP 2 pieces of music. The OVERLAPPING of 2 pieces makes for a very seamless cut. PLEASE HELP!!!!!! Other then that the App is fantastic!

A move in the right direction

Not there yet but this app has potential. Still pretty basic especially to whats available now on the App Store.
